How to use WordPress
WordPress is an easy to use content management system that lets you add, delete, or edit content on your website as easy as writing an email.

Access Your Login Page

To login to WordPress, go to the login page. Depending on your set-up, you may be able to access this from the front end of your website, or you may use a link like this: http://www.example.com/wp-login.php, replacing www.example.com with your website's address.

The default WordPress login area.

Enter your user name and password in the appropriate boxes and click "Login" or hit the "Enter" key ("Return" on a Macintosh).

You will be taken to your site's backend.

"Remember Me"

Click on the box labeled "Remember Me" if you want to stay logged in from session to session.

Note: Do not select this option on a public or shared computer as the next computer user may have access to your backend if they navigate to your site.

Lost Password

If you cannot remember your password, click on the "Lost Your Password?" link beneath the login box.

In the box that appears, enter either your username or your email. You will be sent a link which will allow you to create a new password.

If you cannot remember your username or password, you will need to contact an admin for your website in order to recover your password. If you are an admin, you will need to contact d12 Support to create a new password.

WordPress will automatically send the new password link to the email address you registered with. If you change your email address, remember to edit your WordPress user profile to change your email address.
